TJ Penrod has been with Moonridge almost since it opened.  In fact he is the longest standing employee and loves it! Prior to becoming the Residential Director, TJ taught Social Studies, the Assistant Residential Director, Shift Leader and a mentor at Moonridge Academy.  TJ has been working with youth for almost 20 years in programs and in the community either mentoring for the Utah State Extension Office or teaching theater and improv techniques to high school students in Utah and around the western United States.

TJ has worked as an adjunct drama teacher at Southern Utah University.  When he's not working with the students at Moonridge, he can be found performing and teaching at OTC Comedy Inprov, the theatre and training center he co-founded.  He is also a highly successful improv actor performing at festivals across the country.
