Riley has a Bachelor's degree in Social Science Secondary Education from Southern Utah University as well as a minor in Health Education and Spanish. Riley wanted to become a teacher to share her excitement for life long learning. She says that learning is a unique process for every person, and she wants to provide diverse opportunities for students to explore different ways of learning so that they can feel confident in themselves.

Riley chose to study social sciences because they offer so much insight into the world around us and how we can be active in our society.

Riley worked as a youth mentor for CERTS for the past two years and so she is familiar with the services that Moonridge Academy has to offer. Outside of school and work, Riley loves just about anything outdoors or at home as long as she's with friends and family. Her favorites this year have been movie nights, lake days for fishing and swimming, and playing games with her husband.
