Hospitals have traditionally treated adolescents. These treatment stays are short (generally 3-7 days), very costly to both the insurance company and/or the adolescent's parents, and are questionable in terms of providing long-term success. Enormous amounts of money are expended using this approach, and adolescents often return for additional treatment. Moonridge Academy is an alternative solution. Moonridge Academy is a professional organization, licensed as a residential treatment center. We believe that it is a better solution that provides a higher standard of care in a nurturing, family oriented system at a lower cost than is traditionally charged by hospitals.
Moonridge Academy accepts payment in a variety of ways. Parents and referral sources are welcome to counsel with a representative from Moonridge Academy about private pay and insurance reimbursement. Please call us at 801-755-8802 and an intake officer will help you decide whether or not Moonridge Academy is an appropriate placement for your daughter.
