Ashley Perez, LCSW

Primary Therapist

Ashley earned her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.   Originally from the Chicago area, Ashley has enjoyed living in the Midwest and now the Southwest. Ashley worked as a middle school counselor in Illinois before working at a wilderness therapy program in Wisconsin. There, Ashley worked with students struggling to regulate emotions, manage day-to-day stressors, and participate in life with family and friends. She developed a skillset for working with students who have experienced complex trauma and those who struggle with attachment and relationships. Ashley is trained in Brainspotting, Trauma Centered Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Natural Lifemanship, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Ashley is also an Internal Family Systems trained therapist. Ashley thrives in working with young adolescents and helping them navigate into their teenage years. With her experience in wilderness therapy, Ashley utilizes the Moonridge adventure therapy experiences to deepen her therapeutic relationship and challenge her student's to grow. In her off time, Ashley likes to hike, camp, listen to podcasts, and spend time with her puppy Jellybean.
