PROGRAM STAFF
Tawny Davis
Executive Director
Tawny Davis is the Executive Director of Moonridge Academy
and Kolob Canyon Residential Treatment Center. She is a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years
experience in the field. Originally from Seattle, WA,
Tawny completed her Bachelors degree at Brigham Young
University and her Master's degree at University of Utah
in Social Work. She has worked as a therapist, a Program
Director and a Residential Director for a large treatment
program. Tawny's interests and expertise include
adolescent treatment, family work, groups, substance abuse
recovery, and program management. She's excited to be
working with the girls and families of Kolob and
Moonridge.

Craig Rodabough
CERTS Executive Director
Craig Rodabough is the Executive Director of CERTS. He
holds a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family
Therapy from Brigham Young University with a minor in
statistics. Craig was elected to the Board of Directors
for the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and
Programs (NATSAP). He currently chairs the Member Services
committee. He has also served as a Board Member for the
Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He has
worked as Clinical Director, Admissions Director and
Regional Director of Business Development in residential
treatment centers. Married for 25 years, Craig has three
children. He has participated in his local school
community councils and was appointed to a school district
building task force. Craig enjoys hiking, reading and
playing cards with his family.

Tiffany Shukait
Program Director
Tiffany is the program director of both Moonridge Academy
and Kolob Canyon Residential Treatment Center. She has
been working with adolescents since 1998 in group homes,
residential treatment centers, homeless shelters and
psychiatric hospital settings. She has worked with
adolescent sex offenders, homeless women and children,
drug addicts and those with serious mental health
problems. She is organized and well versed in the language
and behavior of adolescent girls in residential treatment.
Tiffany was born and raised in Southern Utah. She is the
mother of two adorable infant girls and brings her love of
reading, volleyball, scrap booking and shopping to work.

Stan Stewart
Academic Director
Stan graduated from Brigham Young University and was a
teacher and administrator in Utah public schools from 1978
through May of 2006. He received statewide acclaim as a
mathematics educator and served on many state curriculum
development and assessment writing committees. Among his
many honors was the Teacher of the Year Award from one of
Utah's largest school districts. In June of 2006, Stan
became the Academic Dean of Mountain Springs Preparatory
Academy. Later his role with CERTS expanded to include
Moonridge Academy and Kolob Canyon Residential Treatment
Center. Stan loves to teach and loves to associate with
youth. He and his wife, Kathryn, are the parents of 14
children. His life has been filled with service to his
family, church, and community. He is delighted to have a
hand in assisting with the academic progress of students
at Kolob, Moonridge, and Mountain Springs.

Daphne Solomon, RN, BSN
Nurse Coordinator
Daphne has worked in health care since 1987 in physicians
clinics, and as an RN since 2003. She has practiced in the
regional medical center on the Medical/Oncology floor and
as a case manager in Hospice care in Southern Utah. She
was awarded the Outstanding Clinician in her nursing
graduating class and the Outstanding Nursing Student in
the College of Science at Southern Utah University. Daphne
has been married for 24 years and her experience with
teenagers includes 22 years of raising 7 children with 4
of those teenagers still at home. She serves in her church
working with the young women and enjoys teaching and
acting as a role model for them. She loves sewing, cross
stitch, water skiing and reading.

Ruth Williams, MSW, LCSW
Therapist
Ruth Williams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who
received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern
Utah University and her Master’s degree in social work
from the University of Utah. Ruth is a seasoned therapist
with over eighteen years of experience that involved
interaction at the therapeutic level with the chronically
mentally ill, ungovernable adolescents, sexual
perpetrators and victims, domestic violence perpetrators
and victims, and extensive child and family therapy.
Ruth’s background experience and education has contributed
to her ability to engage adolescents and their families in
the change process by helping them see how their past can
effect the present by creating obstacles to awareness,
fulfilling relationships and personal satisfaction in
their interpersonal, intrapersonal, and social lives.

Jason Harrison, LCSW
Therapist
Jason was born in Idaho and raised in St. George, Utah. He
graduated from Southern Utah University in 1999 with a BA
in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. He then graduated
from the University of Utah with a Master's in Social
Work. Jason is currently licensed as a LCSW in the state
of Utah. Jason has worked with both adolescents and adults
with developmental disabilities, chronically mentally ill,
sexual perpetrators, and victims in leadership positions.
They look forward to raising their two kids, Ty and Emery
in Cedar City. He enjoys gardening, plants of any kind.
Spending time in his garden helps him maintain his
direction and his goals in his life. He has completed a
certificate course in Horticultural Therapy with the
American Horticultural Therapy Association and brings this
specialization to the students at Moonridge.

Callie Bassett
Office Manager
Callie came to Moonridge Academy in 2004 with 10 years of
secretarial/office management experience. Callie enjoys
working with people and performing duties in Business
Administration. She has been married for 22 years and has
4 children, one son-in-law, and is soon to become a
grandmother! Callie loves being a wife and mother and
enjoys anything having to do with supporting her husband
and children in their activities. She loves swimming and
has competed several times in the Utah Summer Games. She
also sings in a women’s quartet called “One Voice” and
performs at various events in and around her community.
She especially loves singing for the Moonridge girls at
Christmastime. She is proud to be a part of the Moonridge
Academy Team.

Jessica Foley
English Teacher
Jessica attended both Dixie State College and Southern
Utah University attaining a bachelor's degree in English
Education with a minor in Psychology. She has a great love
for young people and loves to share with them her passion
for language and literature. Jessica has volunteered with
the 4-H Afterschool Program for Middle School ages and has
also been involved with coaching girl’s volleyball at a
local high school. Jessica brings a lot of variety into
the classroom and believes in an interdisciplinary
approach to learning. She has been teaching at both
Moonridge and Kolob Academies since August 2007. Jessica
lives in Cedar City with her husband, Gregory, and their
daughter, Emerson Rose.

David Fryer
Social Studies Teacher
David Fryer was born in Idaho Falls Idaho. His father
served in the United States Navy for 20 years and he lived
in Washington State, Florida, and California, among other
states. David considers California home since that is
where he lived most, growing up in places such as
Sacramento, Alameda, San Rafael, and Long Beach. He
graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School. After
graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force,
where he served in the Security Police while stationed in
England. After serving his enlistment he did religious
service in the states of Alabama and Mississippi. While
doing so he had the opportunity to work with several
educational programs for underprivileged and at-risk
youth. David attended collage at Southern Utah University
where he received a degree in history and political
science. While attending school, David worked full-time at
a local factory and helped his wife raise their five
children.

Breanna Bragg
Science Teacher
Breanna has worked for Moonridge Academy and Kolob Canyon
for over 4 years. She began as a line staff as she
completed her teaching degree at Southern Utah University.
While she was finishing up her degree she won awards from
the National Science Teachers Association for being the
student chapter president at SUU. She has a great love for
the girls at Kolob and Moonridge. She now works as a
teacher and as a staff. She loves to share her knowledge
and interests with them, which include; swimming, cooking,
reading, photography and watching movies. She also loves
to travel and has recently visited some of the most
amazing cities in Europe as well as New York, Washington
D.C., San Francisco, and many more. She has 4 nieces that
she loves to spend time with and spoil. She grew up part
time in Las Vegas, Nevada and Crowley, TX. She has been a
resident of Cedar City for the past nine years. She loves
what she does because she feels like she is making a
difference in the world.
