FACILITIES
Moonridge Academy lies at the
base of the Harmony Mountains in scenic Cedar City, Utah
and is approximately 5550 ft. above sea level. Our
beautiful home is surrounded by over 20 acres of Southern
Utah shrub oak landscape. The house has three levels, a
spacious and open kitchen area for meal preparation and
dining, numerous comfortable bedrooms that house a total
of 16 students, a schoolroom, and administrative and
therapy offices.
While the premises are secure
and alarmed, Moonridge Academy is not a “lock-down
facility,” neither in terms of
 facility type nor in terms
of philosophy. The young women that are accepted into the
program are constantly supervised by a well trained,
caring, and loving staff that facilitates “change from
within.” All staff members are carefully chosen for their
ability to be positive role models for the students.
